Dominique Gregoire has been the Executive Director since October of 2015. He was

associated with the Alliance Française of Providence as its President from 1998 to 2014.

Born in France, Dominique was a City Manager in a New Town, a blue-collar suburb of

Rouen,the capital of Normandy until he moved to the United States with his family in 1986

 He then was Director of Housing in the Governor's Office and worked for the City of

Providence. Under his leadership the Alliance has grown from a $20,000.00 a year

organization to a $200,000.00 budget in 2019. The Alliance purchased its headquarters

in 2010 becoming one of only 12 Alliances in the USA owning their home.

     Janet Germano is our Director of Development. After joining the Board of Directors as

Treasurer of the Alliance in 2010, Janet pivoted to her new role in October of 2017. She

gained her experience for many years in the management of the International House

of Rhode Island. She very closely monitors the memberships. She also actively participates

in the organization and logistics of several events.  Janet owned her own photography

and video business for many years and her design skills are implemented in maintenance

of the Website, the Newsletters and posters and flyers to advertise the activities of the

Alliance.
